"Hawk Training" from Hawkworld vol.1 #2 (DC, 1989) by Timothy Truman and Alcatena
Though Tim Truman reimagined Hawkman for the 90s, it was John Ostrander's underrated follow-up series that I really admired. It's not featured here for lack of good splashes and had always been handicapped, I felt, by strange, extreme coloring from Sam Parsons.
